Jack Inacker is a father, husband, veteran, political organizer, and community leader based in Philadelphia, where his family’s roots run over three generations. A highly decorated Air Force veteran who served during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, Jack has continued to demonstrate his commitment to serving his community as the Founder and Chair of the Pennsylvania Veterans Caucus, Director of Veterans For Bob Casey, and Committeeperson for Philadelphia's 18th Ward Democrats.
Jack is a third-generation Armed Services member. In the Air Force, Jack served as a nuclear weapons systems specialist, where he was responsible for managing and auditing over $500 million worth of nuclear weapons and assets. After his honorable discharge, benefits from the GI Bill allowed Jack to become the first in his family to graduate from college, where he ultimately completed his Masters of Public Policy from Temple University, graduating first in his class as valedictorian.
Following his military service, Jack has dedicated himself to leading causes and organizations that ensure veterans have a strong voice in our civic discourse at every level of government and politics. Jack’s experience in politics began when he worked for the Obama campaign in 2008 and as a member of the Obama White House Advance Team in 2011 and 2012. Since then, he has founded the Philadelphia Democratic Veterans Caucus, worked in an advisory role on several local campaigns in Philadelphia, and organized hundreds of fellow veterans to win crucial elections as Chair of Veterans for Fetterman and now as Director of Veterans for Bob Casey.
In addition to his service as a political organizer, Jack has served on the board of the New Leaders Council and the Fishtown Neighbors Association. As a Housing and Community Resource Development Manager, Jack worked to promote a “housing first” model approach to assisting those struggling with substance use disorder. As an inspector with Philly Parks and Rec, he conducted performance audits of dozens of Philadelphia parks and rec centers for safety and code violations.
In 2013, Jack married his wife Alice and moved to San Diego to support her for her post-doctorate for 3 years. In 2016, Jack and Alice moved back to Philadelphia and bought their first home together in Fishtown in 2017. Together, they share two small children, RJ and Maggie, and their dogs Jinx & Violet. They also manage a small, family business that provides boat slip and dock rentals in Connecticut.
